The show is the adventures of four kids, Stan, Kenny, Kyle and Cartman, who live in a fictional Colorado city named, what else, South Park. It's basically about anything, and everyone in this city has an angle (or common persona) such as the mother of Cartman, who is a slut. One of the normal features of this show is that there's never anyone you haven't met yet.
