It’s never too early to start learning how to dress appropriately, whether it’s for your everyday getup or professional business attire. Teaching young men the importance of dressing up, as well as how to properly fasten a tie or bowtie, is an essential skill to have. It also serves as a huge confidence booster.

Jody Green from the Lakota School District reached out to us to collaborate for a Dress for Success program. We were moved by his students’ willingness and curiosity to learn about fastening a tie and how to properly wear them.

To take part in the Dress for Success program, Ties.com donated 30 ties for a workshop that hosted a mix of 7th and 8th-grade middle school students. The students had a great time with this interactive workshop and we only hope the best for these students’ future endeavors!
