How’d your passion for menswear start?

I think it all started from when I had my first memories of my childhood. My mom always dressed my sister and I impeccably, we would always get compliments on looking so adorable. Since then, I always made sure I was presentable when I would go out and took pride in my appearance. Throughout high school and college I modeled, so that has definitely contributed to my passion regarding menswear. I’d say it all culminated when I was interning for GQ and got to experience first-hand everything that goes on at one of my favorite publications!

What are your goals as an influencer?

That’s a really interesting question because I came into Instagram and blogging with basically no intention of ever becoming an “influencer.” I started my blog and Instagram because I was going to study abroad and really just wanted to capture and document my adventures to my family and friends. However, since then my social media has evolved into what it is today! I’m so lucky to get the opportunities I do as an influencer, and I would say that my goals are really centered around sharing my style and helping young professionals to develop their personal style and pursue the things that they love!

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style has evolved drastically from when I started college until now. At UNC Chapel Hill, where I went to school, I was the ultimate prep. I literally wouldn’t leave the house without having a polo, collared shirt, cardigan, or some other preppy staple on. However, now my style is such a mixture or preppy, street, etc. I would define it as an edgy prep because I still love suits and tailoring, however, I am all about throwing in interesting patterns or silhouettes and even incorporating some street style into my wardrobe.

Explain your outfit.

This outfit is really indicative of my current style: a perfectly tailored jacket with a fun and unique print. Since the jacket is so bold on its own I paired it with basics, a solid white shirt and a interesting, yet subtle, tie.
